5/6: Denver Metro BOMA Trade Show and Conference. Featuring a seminar on the new Watts To Water program. Learn more on the BOMA website.

4/20 - 6/22: Greater Good Academy. The Greater Good Academy is an 8-week business development program to train low- and moderate-income entrepreneurs in triple bottom line and sustainable business practices. See the website for more information. 

4/2: Downtown Denver Partnership receives EPA grant for Watts To Water. Find more information about the program on the website: www.WattsToWater.org.

 

What We're Doing at the Downtown Denver Partnership and Business Improvement District:

Downtown DenverWe support and promote multi-modal transportation as the Downtown Transportation Management Association.

We installed 100 new bicycle racks in Downtown, winning the Bicycle Friendly Business of the Month award from BikeDenver. Read more.

We use energy efficient LED holiday lights on the 16th Street Mall, resulting in 90% energy use reduction.

We launched the 16th Street Mall Recycling program in 2008, and are expanding it in 2010.

We planted over 150 trees in Downtown in the last three years, with more planned.

We have full participation in the Kittredge Building's recycling program.

We recorded a 32% reduction of paper use in our office in the last year.

76% of our staff choose multi-modal transportation options for their commute.

We participated in "Lights Out Lunch" on Dec. 11, 2009.
